The first inaugural Speedbump Fest was held on March 5, 2016 at Annbell's in Akron, Ohio. Rhomer, Rabid Reason, Nullum (Deery, PA), Smash N Grab, F*** You Pay Me, and Feral Children graced the staged in Annabel's basement to celebrate our dear friend Garrett Janos of Akron, Ohio who died by suicide. The first show was intended solely to celebrate our friend's life and bring the community together after our loss but it quickly became apparent everyone wanted it to continue.
